BIG picture graduation!

16 weeks of amazing teaching is sadly over! A great thanks to John, Gill and Joshua, for the great blessing that they have been to us. If you weren’t able to attend the course this year, book your spot for next year!

The BIG Picture is almost complete
September 15, 2008This coming Sunday is our final class of the Big Picture for this year!
A big thanks to John, Gill and Joshua for making all the effort to teach us this incredible course, it has been a great time of growth for us.
During our service this week we will have a graduation for those who completed 80% of the course and thereafter we will be having a Bring and Share lunch and a time of communion.

Dr. Ronnie Davis

This coming Sunday, Dr. Ronnie Davis, will be preaching at our 10am Service.
Ronnie is a lecturer at the Cape Town Baptist Seminary, where he specializes in New Testament Studies and Greek. Ronnie has a great passion for the church and for family life.

Recently we had the great privelage of having Dr. Rick Via minister at our church over a few days.
We shared him over a week with the our good friends, Ps. Jeremy and the Ocean View Baptist Church.
We had such an amazing time with Rick as he shared his experiences, taught us how to be more effective at sharing our faith and preached God’s Word! Our focus was specifically on evangelism and evangelism training, which is what Rick is especially gifted in.
God really used him to wake us up again to our the great task of evangelism which we are called to. The beauty of it is that this is not a burden to us but rather as a joy as God has equipped us and is already working in the heart of the people we are going to reach.
Praise be to Jesus Christ!
